Overlooking the rolling fields and wooded trails of Powisset Farm, the Brookfield property offered a unique opportunity to design a landscape that honors its pastoral surroundings. Ivy Studio approached the project with a deep respect for the site’s context—creating a timeless outdoor retreat that harmonizes with the natural beauty beyond the property

Traditional elements, including rustic fieldstone walls, split granite entry columns, and a reclaimed granite-edged wood-burning firepit, root the design in New England’s vernacular while offering modern comfort and durability. These materials were chosen not only for their aesthetic character but for their ability to age gently within the landscape.

Thoughtful planning and phased execution allowed Ivy Studio to seamlessly integrate all new underground utilities—carefully coordinating gas, water, and electrical systems to service the newly constructed garage, outdoor shower, pool area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each element was positioned with intention, maintaining sightlines to the surrounding farmland while creating a functional and inviting outdoor environment. This project is a refined, multi-functional destination space that feels deeply connected to its rural setting—built for both everyday enjoyment and lasting memories for the client’s growing family.
